Ragdoll Playground vs Melon Playground

Checked

The Roblox game is a 2D ragdoll sandbox with rooms for up to six players. The Melon product is a separate sandbox sold outside Roblox. Compare the exact Melon product you mean before deciding: device support, controls and sandbox options matter more than the shared name.

Confirm which two products you are comparing

This page compares two specific things. On the Roblox side it is [INJECTIONS] Ragdoll Playground, placeId 106521346673466, made by the group Speedwagon Gaming Foundation: a 2D side-view pixel sandbox.

On the other side, Melon Playground and Melon Sandbox are the same product under two names. It is not this Roblox game, and it is also not the various browser pages that use the phrase "ragdoll playground" in their titles. If you landed on a website that plays ragdoll games in a browser tab, you are looking at a third thing.

Melon's own product page was not read for this page. That is the honest limit of what follows: the Roblox column is checked, the Melon column is not, and this page says so row by row instead of filling the gaps from memory.

What is checked and what is not

Question Ragdoll Playground on Roblox Melon product
Where you play it Inside Roblox Not checked
How many people in a room Up to 6, per the game's listing Not checked
Input Mouse and keyboard binds documented by the developer Not checked
Sandbox contents TOOL, POWER and ENTITY tabs plus 17 maps Not checked
Codes Three codes published by the developer Not checked
Cost Free, with an in-game coin shop Not checked

Six of six rows are unchecked on the Melon side. Writing them from memory would produce a comparison you could not verify, and the point of this page is to help you choose, not to sound complete.

The one difference this page can stand behind

If you want to be in the same room as someone else while you play, the Roblox version is the one that answers that. The room limit is 6, which is small, but it is a shared room: other players are in the same scene as you.

What that shared room does not promise is a mode. Six players can be in a room without any cooperation, competition or shared goal, and nothing recorded shows players affecting each other's attempts. So the accurate claim is about the room, not about the play.

Choosing without the missing column

Two decisions can be made from the Roblox column alone.

If shared play is what you are after and you already have Roblox, this version answers that need today, with nothing to install. If you want to know how much there is to try before you commit an evening, the item index and map list answer that in one screen each.

If your reason for choosing is the sandbox content itself, this page cannot help yet: the Melon column is empty, and a comparison with one side filled in is worse than no comparison. That row gets filled when Melon's own material is read into this site.

Where to go next

If you are going to play the Roblox version, read the beginner guide first: it covers the equip step that makes every other page make sense. If you only want to know what is inside, the item index and the map list are the two pages that answer that.
