Which Ragdoll Playground Item Should You Try?

Checked

Pick the result first, then pick the item whose controls match that result. There are no damage numbers in this game's public material, so a ranking by strength would be invented. What follows is four branches, each with a concrete item, the menu path to it, the action to take and the point where you should pick something else.

I want to… Try Where it is What to do
Cut something apart with a held item KATANA TOOL, Blades Select it, check the bottom line reads SLASH, then click and hold
Hold a dummy in place Spider web POWER, MAGIC Select it, then follow its prompt while aiming at the dummy
Change what a dummy is Demon hands POWER, MAGIC Select it, stand where its prompt allows, then use it
Let the room do the work A trap map WORLD, MAPS Pick the map, then throw the dummy into the trap

Branch: cutting something apart with a held item

This is the only branch where the whole chain was recorded, which makes it the safest first experiment.

  1. Open ITEMS, then TOOL, then the blade entry.
  2. Check the bottom line: it must read KATANA, with SLASH and HOLD TO KEEP SLASHING.
  3. Click once to slash; hold the click to keep slashing.
  4. Watch the dummy's limbs rather than the blade.

Pick something else if you want a result that does not need aim. The blade is a single-target tool: it does one dummy at a time.

Branch: holding a dummy in place

The spider web is one of only two magic powers that was watched working. In the recorded session it caught two dummies in the air and kept them there.

  1. Open ITEMS, then POWER, then MAGIC.
  2. Select the spider web entry.
  3. Read the bottom line before clicking; this page does not have its exact wording recorded, so the line is your instruction.
  4. Aim at the dummy and use it.

Its weakness is the same as its strength: a held dummy is a control, not a result. Use this branch as a setup step and follow it with something that does damage.

Branch: changing what a dummy is

The demon hands power reduced a dummy to liquid on the floor. That makes it the most visually complete single-item result recorded so far.

  1. Open ITEMS, then POWER, then MAGIC.
  2. Select the demon hands entry.
  3. Read the end of the bottom line: in the recorded session it added a condition naming the floor.
  4. Stand so that condition is true, then use it.

Pick something else if you are far from the floor or on a raised platform, because the recorded prompt named proximity to the floor as the condition.

Branch: letting the room do the work

Sometimes the thing you want to watch is a room doing the work, and the trap maps make that possible: a grinder, a crusher, a spike room, a laser grid and three liquid pits all act on their own.

  1. Open WORLD, then MAPS.
  2. Pick a trap map: GRINDER, CRUSHER, SPIKE ROOM, LASER GRID, LAVA PIT, ACID PIT or POOL.
  3. Select the dummy with left click and throw it into the trap.

This branch needs no item knowledge and works with any character, which makes it the fastest way to get a result on a fresh server. It also produces the least variety: once you have seen a pit, you have seen the pit.

What this page will not tell you

The nuke appears in the developer's description, and its menu label, group and effect are not recorded. This page used to say it was the same experiment with a bigger number; that was an extrapolation from a name and it is removed. If you find it, the branch it belongs to is your call, not this page's.

The listed explosive names are also not a promise that each one is throwable or placeable. Only their names were read, not their prompts. The one item whose prompt was recorded is the blade.

Why there is no ranking here

A ranking needs a number to rank by. This game's public material has no damage, cost, cooldown or unlock figure anywhere: not in the developer's description, not in the Roblox listing, and not on any panel that was recorded.

The abilities that appear by name in the developer's description, including black hole, tornado, meteor and time stop, are left out of these branches on purpose. They exist, but no recording showed where they live in the menu, so recommending them would mean recommending a tab that might not be right.

What you can rely on instead is the pattern: a held item changes a dummy's pieces, a holding power changes where it is, a floor-based power changes what it is, and a trap map changes everything except the dummy.
